It's safe to say that Tokyo's Tsukiji Market is one of the greatest markets of all time. Not only does it offer more than 400 types of fresh seafood daily, the buyers and sellers are some of the most passionate craftsmen you'll ever meet. In addition to its world-renowned tuna auctions, Tsukiji is home to seafood and vegetable wholesalers as well as food stalls that boast everything from sashimi donburi to tamagoyaki and wagashi. In 2014, soon after it was announced that Tsukiji Market would be moving to a larger site in Tokyo's Toyosu neighborhood, filmmaker Naotaro Endo began shooting Tsukiji Wonderland in an effort to preserve this institution.
